Bagua+Bhava team recently proposed a design thought for a compact bathroom or washes basin instalment using the suitable Axor One products.

Axor One. A bathroom collection is elegant, elemental, pure and can be realized only through radical innovation. Using Select Technology and a new mode of interaction, Axor One reinvents familiar archetypes for greater clarity, enhanced function and superior control. Axor One is characterized by a holistic design language of slender silhouettes,

flat surfaces, soft corners and balanced proportions. At the washbasin, the archetypal parabolic faucet with an all-in-one controller features a gentle taper to the curved spout, a subtle detail that signals the exceptional quality of design and manufacture.

The Forbidden City was the palatial heart of China. After its completion in 1420, the Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors, their families and servants during the Ming (1368–1644) and the Qing (1644–1911) dynasties.

Axor stands out among the global brands. The Forbidden City is a spectacular historic site in the world. Coincidentally, they also are a star in their era. As a result, The Forbidden City is a design concept and story for this washroom interior design.

About the design of interior spacing, symmetry planning is designed based on the “Axis Route” in The Forbidden City. The dry area at the entrance. Then go straight ahead and arrive at the wet zone, the powder room and the shower room.

First of all, design elements like the green colour and the material of jade always appear in Chinese culture. As a result, Amazon Green Quartzite is adopted for the vanity counter with timber panels. Green marble and polished nickel Axoe One faucet created the luxury feeling for the interior space and the design taste. The floor pattern referenced The Forbidden City design style. Three different types of materials combined the floor.

Regarding the materials and colour, the environment and the architectural style in The Forbidden City are adopted. Especially the wooden wall and the feature screen with wallcovering by Glamora. The feature screen separated the dry and the wet zone.

Polished nickel is chosen for Axor One sanitary fitting finish because it is related to the palace golden roof in The Forbidden City. For the wet area, the wall covering for the feature screen is designed by de Gournay.

With Axor One, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby have reinvented familiar archetypes for greater clarity, enhanced function and superior control. The result is a collection of slender, elegant forms that embody the principles of Compact Luxury.
